Mobility Training
Mobility training is a crucial part of my general fitness approach. If you neglect moving your joints, they will eventually lose their ability to go through the full range of motion, which will cause injuries in the long run. It will improve the blood flow in your joints and therefore enhance the transport of nutrients, which will widen the joint line.
Mobilty is divided into active Range of Motion (ROM) and passive Range of Motion. Active ROM is considered as the strength you can utilize at the end of a movement amplitude whereas passive ROM is considered as flexibility. Injuries most likely happen, if there is a big gap between active and passive ROM and your muscles have to compensate wrong movements, which will lead to misalignments.
At Ricco Fitness mobilty training will be incorported into your workout routine. This way you will be moving individual joints through their full range of motion before stabilizing and eventually using weight training to build muscle, in order to move, feel and look better.
